Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all bookings made with Stone’s Throw Social.
By making a booking through the Stone’s Throw Social website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your group.

General Bookings

All bookings are non-refundable.
Bookings are made for a specific venue, date, time, activity and group size. Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.
Bookings cannot be cancelled, moved or amended after their scheduled start time. Failure to attend your booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund, credit or alternative date will be offered.
For bookings of 13 guests or fewer, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to change the date, time or number of guests.
For bookings of 14 guests or more, we require at least 7 days’ notice to make changes.
All changes are subject to availability.
If you cancel your booking or reduce your group size outside the permitted amendment period, payments relating to guests who do not attend will be forfeited.
If you would like to add guests after making your booking, we will do our best to accommodate them. Additional places, lanes, booths, tables, food or package elements are subject to availability and may require additional payment.

Arrival & Late Guests

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled activity start time. This gives us enough time to check your group in and get everyone ready.
Activity times are fixed, and arriving late may reduce the amount of time available for your session.
We can hold your booking for up to 10 minutes after its scheduled start time. After this point, we cannot guarantee that your activity will still be available.
Where possible, we will try to accommodate late groups in another available session on the same day, but this is entirely subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
No refund will be provided where an activity is shortened or missed because members of the group arrive late.

Activities & Group Sizes

Some Stone’s Throw Social activities are booked exclusively for your group.
Curling lanes and private karaoke booths are not shared with other groups unless specifically stated otherwise.
Minimum and maximum group sizes may apply to individual activities, packages, lanes, booths and tables. These will be shown during the booking process.
Where a booking exceeds the capacity of a single activity space, additional lanes, booths or tables may be required. These are subject to availability and any applicable additional charges.

Children & Under-18s

Children and guests under the age of 18 are permitted in Stone’s Throw Social venues until 8pm.
After 8pm, Stone’s Throw Social reserves the right to ask anyone under the age of 18 to leave the venue for safety and licensing reasons.
Parents, guardians and accompanying adults are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children and under-18s while on the premises.
We reserve the right to request valid photographic identification where appropriate.

Food, Drinks & Packages

Where food, drinks or other package elements are included in your booking, these are based on the number of guests confirmed and paid for.
Reductions in guest numbers made outside the applicable amendment period will not result in a refund for unused food, drinks or package elements.
Please make us aware of any dietary requirements or allergies in advance of your visit. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from allergens.

Your Responsibilities

The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during the booking process is correct, including the venue, date, time, activity and number of guests.
Stone’s Throw Social cannot accept responsibility for booking errors caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.
The person making the booking is responsible for making their group aware of these Terms & Conditions and any relevant venue rules.
Guests are responsible for any deliberate, reckless or negligent loss or damage caused to the venue, activities, furniture, fixtures or equipment.
Where damage occurs, Stone’s Throw Social reserves the right to charge the person who made the booking for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Guests must follow reasonable instructions given by Stone’s Throw Social staff regarding the safe use of activities, facilities and equipment.

Behaviour, Security & Removal from the Venue

Stone’s Throw Social employs security personnel to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests and team.
Stone’s Throw Social management and security reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the premises, any person whose behaviour is considered disruptive, threatening, abusive, dangerous or likely to cause a disturbance or nuisance.
This includes, but is not limited to, excessive intoxication, aggressive behaviour, harassment, damage to property, failure to follow reasonable instructions from staff or security, or behaviour that compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
Guests must comply with reasonable instructions given by Stone’s Throw Social staff and security personnel.
Where a guest or group is refused entry or removed from the venue as a result of their behaviour, no refund, credit or replacement booking will be provided, including for any activities, food, drinks or packages that have not been used.

Amending Your Booking

If you need to amend your booking, please contact Stone’s Throw Social using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.
Bookings may be moved to another available date or time provided the required notice set out above has been given.
All amendments are subject to availability.
If you move your booking to a date, time, activity or package with a higher price, you will be required to pay the difference.
Moving a booking does not reset or remove any cancellation or amendment restrictions that already apply to it.

Private Hire & Large Events

All private hire and exclusive venue bookings are non-refundable.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% deposit is required to secure a private hire booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than six weeks before the event date.
Where a private hire booking is made within six weeks of the event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
A booking is not considered fully confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received.
Once the final balance has been paid, confirmed guest numbers cannot be reduced and the event cannot be transferred to another date unless agreed by Stone’s Throw Social in writing.
Requests to increase guest numbers will be accommodated wherever possible but remain subject to venue capacity, availability and any additional charges.

Changes Made by Stone’s Throw Social

Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may require us to alter an activity, booking or event.
If Stone’s Throw Social is unable to provide the activity or booking you have paid for, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an appropriate alternative, credit or refund.
Stone’s Throw Social will not be responsible for consequential costs or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
